I’ve had many career highlights in my time serving in the Royal Navy. I’ve served in Iraq, the Libya Conflict and been Pirate chasing off the coast of Somalia. I’ve travelled to 41 countries and some more than once. Fleet week in New York (a week the Americans celebrate Navies from all over the world) was incredible.
More recently though, my job works as part of a 3 man chef team conducting all the fine dining functions for the hierarchy of the Royal Navy. This means cooking in the awesome places (on HMS Victory for one!) and for some well-known people. Only the other week I cooked for Prime Minister Theresa May and her team.
